Translating ideas to market

In august of 2011 I worked on creating a collection for fall 2012/13. Here is how the ideas have stayed on- trend.

Nightwork- Clothing that can translate from day to night

The similarity in color and ombre effect shows a good correlation from concept to trend. This collection was designed prior to Pantones release of color for the year”orange”. Both Rykiel and myself made on trend choices for overall design.

Also the use of “color blocking” was effectively on trend with one another.
